Safari Extension links Safari with Twitter for Mac →
Post to Twitter is a Safari 5+ extension for Mac users. This extension, coupled with Twitter for Mac, makes your Twitter experience on the Mac a whole lot better.
What Post to Twitter does: - Installs a toolbar icon in the Safari browser, and once clicked on, you can post to twitter the current page you are on with a title and link. - Allows you to post to twitter the current page with a title...

Google to drop h.264 support in Chrome →
Fucking boo, Google. Nobody in their right mind wants to use WebM. h.264 is small and good looking. Stop shoving your sub-par and obscure video technology down our throats.

It’s a great app, and they’re having a big sale on the desktop for everyone who buys FileMaker Go on iOS.
Should You Buy The Verizon iPhone? →
If you travel in any way, don’t buy this phone. It won’t work in Europe.
Believe it or not, TechCrunch, Europe and the United States are not the only two places in the world. There are plenty of places outside of Europe that use CDMA.
Single, Female, Mormon, Alone →
Oddly, my trip to Planned Parenthood provided much that the church had not in recent years. During my exam, the clinician explained every move before she made it, asked permission to touch me during the most routine procedures. I was mystified: by her compassion, by the level of attention paid to my body — as if it were fragile, or sacred. Only then did it occur to me how many terrified and...
Jenny McCarthy Loves ‘Exploiting My Baby’ In Life... →
This is a post from Teresa Strasser. I know she is actually happy about this, but I think the title of the post is so perfect.
Dullards like McCarthy actively hurt society when they discuss bunk science that they don’t even seem to understand in the first place. Teresa should be ashamed that her name is now linked with such a wicked person.
How Google Speeds Up The Chrome Release Cycle →
If nothing else, I’m so glad that Google is in the market pushing other browser devs to kick butt.
On the CDMA iPhone 4
Competition is great. The area I live in has ZERO AT&T signal. Not just bad signal, but NO signal. That said, Verizon isn’t great. They might suck a little bit less than AT&T, but telecoms are big sloths that absorb money.
This is a good time to go back and find all of the people who said things like “There is no way Apple would let Verizon announce this,” and then shame...

A lack of new blood donors is a big problem →
In fact, less than 7% of all Blood Bank members are under the age of 35!
I had no idea. That is bad times. If your area has a blood bank, go donate some blood. It makes a huge difference.

So freaking cool. Very Macgasmic.
The Mathematics Of Beauty →
The folks from OKCupid always provide amazing analysis of the data they collect. In this post, they explain that it’s better for women to have a dichotomy of reactions from men than for all men to kinda like them.
Instapaper Auto-Archive Safari Extension →
safariextensions:
If you’re a user of Instapaper, you might miss the auto-archive feature they used to have. It would automatically archive an article when you clicked on it to read it. At the time that they removed the feature, I created FIFO Links, which uses HTML5 storage to accomplish the same thing. The catch with FIFO Links is that it didn’t provide shared storage; it only worked in one...

marthy:
Has been a project long time in the works. I looked years ago into getting a server rack to put my equipment in, but at the time it was cost prohibitive. Along with some help from coworkers I was able to obtain and organize this server rack.

Listen to Josh Schnell, Corey Tamas, and me discuss how the Mac App Store affects games.
Use Paypal, Damnit!
It drives me crazy when online merchants don’t use Paypal. I really want to buy your product. Unfortunately for me, the money I want to use is in Paypal. Oh, I’ll just wait four days to transfer the money to my checking account so I can use my debit card. Or not. You know, whatever.
