After many long nights with awful satellite internet access, we started seeing Verizon doing utility work about a week and a half ago. We ventured to one of the newly installed boxes, and saw the word “Fiber,” and we became cautiously optimistic. Today, we got a flyer in the mail notifying us that Verizon FiOS — arguably the best case scenario as far as broadband choices — is now available for purchase as of today. Hooray! Let the streaming movies begin!
