I am sitting here with my iMac and my StarCraft install CDs. After being inspired by the StarCraft II announcement, I decided to break the discs out. It amazes me that this game runs so well on my machine. Not only was it designed for OS 9, but also for a different processor achitechture. I think it shows how well Apple transitions to new things. Sure, they leave behind the occasional application and port, but they have switched processors twice now. Can you imagine Windows if Bill decided to make the move to PowerPC? Can you imagine the wreckage? I’m impressed.
