Art
Art has nothing to do with skill or outlook. It has nothing to do with taste. Art is simply being able to fool the world. I’m not criticizing. I think that it is awesome, but I think that I should call a spade a spade.
To become a truly great artist, you must be able to trick people into thinking that your work is something unique and special. Andy Warhol, for example, was a superb artist. He was able to master fooling people into thinking he was great. I respect the memory of this man greatly. Jackson Pollock was another great artist that was able to pull the wool over the world’s eyes. I appreciate the man for what he was.
Please understand that I am not calling artists “hacks.” I am not saying that they don’t have talent. In fact, I think that they are some of the greatest minds to have ever graced this planet. What I am trying to say is that the public is gullible and open to suggestion.
