Camino 1.6 Released

I want to like Camino, but every time I have tried it, it has given me heartburn. Here are my thoughts of the recent release:

1. They FINALLY support inline search. It took them forever to get away from the godawful search box interface. Jesus Christ. Safari’s “Spotlighting” method is way better, though.

2. Doesn’t pass Acid2, let alone Acid3. Fail.

3. No built-in RSS reader, but support for web-based and client-based RSS readers. Could be worse.

4. Tabs aren’t dragable. Tsk tsk.

5. From what I can tell, you can’t access your bookmarks through your menu bar. You have to load the bookmark manager. Ick.
