Tipping waiters is generally a good thing. Keeping my glass full of soda, getting my food in a reasonably timely manner, and coping well with variables are the tried and true factors of deciding what to tip. However, I have one other factor that plays a large part for me: Interrupting. If a waiter interrupts my conversation mid-sentence repeatedly, that waiter is going to get a crappy tip. It drives me up the wall when I am cut off while speaking.

I tip according to how well my service was. I have no “Minimum tip.” If you were awesome, I’ll give you a 20%-25% tip. If you sucked, I might not tip you at all. I am not a sympathy tipper. Seems reasonable to me.
