I have a hard time separating my ideas from ideas I have heard from others. I constantly live in fear that I am ripping somebody off without knowing it. I know how ridiculously easy it is to plagiarize concepts by mistake. That is why I can’t get mad when others are accused of taking my ideas.

Hanlon’s Razor says “Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.” I wholeheartedly agree. I find it incredibly hard to believe that most people would ever plagiarize on purpose. Until otherwise proven, I can only assume that either great minds think alike, or that person liked my idea, but forgot that he didn’t come up with it.
