Oh, you took an arrow to the knee? That’s too bad. Alistair just took an arrow to the neck and kept on slaughtering darkspawn.
The Mass Effect 3 trailer isn’t the only exciting thing from Bioware today. I also got my Dragon Age: Redemption DVD.

Dragon Age: Origins
At long last, I have finally completed the whole main quest of Dragon Age: Origins, all of the in-game DLC, and all of the stand-alone DLC. As with all BioWare games, it has a very captivating setting with characters you fall in love with very quickly. The internet-folk sometimes complain that BioWare’s other massive franchise isn’t customizable enough, but I would argue that DA:O has too many knobs and switches for my liking. When you put together each race, class, and specialization combos, it can get slightly overwhelming. I’ve heard that DA2 is more streamlined, but I’ll be witnessing that for myself soon enough.
For those of you who are interested, my canonical Warden is a female human mage. I sided with the mages over the templars. I sided with the elves over the werewolves. I defied the cult of Andraste.I sided with Harrowmont over Bhelen. I destroyed the anvil of the void. I romanced Leliana and stayed loyal. I made Alistair king, locked up Anora, and killed Loghain. I made Alistair impregnate Morrigan. I burned Amaranthine, and saved the Vigil’s Keep. I killed both the architect and the broodmother.
I had a damn good time despite the random difficulty spikes. I can’t wait to dig into DA2 with all that tasty DLC waiting for me.
